First produced in 1960 through a University of Minnesota apple breeding program, Honeycrisp apples are a cross between Macoun and Honey Gold apple varieties. Honeycrisp’s were first introduced to the marketplace in 1990, and we a huge seller due to their exceptionally crisp and juicy texture and they are honey-sweet with a touch-of-tart flavor.

Ranked as one of the highest quality apples in University of Minnesota’s evaluations, Honeycrisp apples can be refrigerates for up to 4 months without noticeable fchange in flavor or texture.
